Car bomb kills four policemen in northern Iraq
A car bomb went off near a police patrol in a town near Nineveh’s provincial capital of Mosul on Saturday, killing four policemen and wounding 16 others, a provincial police source said. “A car bomb parked near a bank in the town of Hamdaniyah, 35 km east of Mosul, detonated in the afternoon near a passing police patrol,” the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
