Rebuffed ex-rebel leader’s men attack Congo train
The Congolese government on Wednesday accused followers of a former rebel chief of attacking train passengers after the supremo was barred from taking up a ministerial post under a peace deal. “Passengers on a train from Pointe-Noire were subjected to extortion on Monday by former fighters bearing allegiance to Reverend Ntumi,” Communications Minister Alain Akouala told AFP.
