A Macedonian police officer was killed and two others wounded when their patrol car was shot at in an ethnic Albanian area on the country’s northern border near Kosovo, police said on Monday. A police spokesman said the dead officer was an ethnic Albanian local station commander. The attack happened shortly after midnight near Vaksince, just south of the border with Serbia and the breakaway Albanian majority province of Kosovo. Full Story
