U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Friday called for action to resolve the crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. “The secretary general is deeply concerned at the deteriorating security situation in the South and North Kivu provinces in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo,” Ban’s spokeswoman, Michele Montas, said in a statement.
