Israel has agreed to stop hunting about 180 wanted Fatah militants who pledged to stop attacks against the Jewish state in an effort to bolster Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, officials said on Sunday. The reprieve will be one of several gestures that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will present to Abbas on Monday when the two leaders meet, most likely in Jerusalem, Olmert’s office said.
