A Sydney man with alleged links to the Sri Lankan terrorist organisation the Tamil Tigers met with a man wanted over the murder of former Indian prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, a Melbourne court heard today. Arumugam Rajeevan, 40, of Old Toongabbie, in Sydney’s west, allegedly controlled $600,000 collected by the Melbourne-based Tamil Coordinating Committee, and which was sent to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), known as the Tamil Tigers, in Sri Lanka.
