EU asks N.African countries to join border patrols

The European Union has asked Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia to join patrols of Europe’s border control agency in a bid to stop massive clandestine immigration, an EU official said Friday. The EU’s executive Commission wants the three countries to send experts, aircraft and ships, Axelle Nicaise, the European Commission’s regional official for domestic affairs, told AFP. Full Story
