Sweden is to provide 2.9 million US dollars in financial aid to the cash-strapped Palestinian public sector, to help pay wages in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Radio Sweden reported on Friday, quoting a senior government official. “The humanitarian and political situation in the Palestinian territories is very serious.
