With the South-East monsoon entering Gangetic West Bengal, heavy rains seriously affected normal life in the city and adjoining districts hitting road, rail and air traffic during the two-hour heavy downpour. Train services on both Eastern and South-Eastern railways had to be suspended for an hour with the rain water flooding the tracks and also causing signal fialure, railway sources said. Full Story
