107 People Die in Bangladesh Mudslides

The death toll from a torrent of mudslides, flooding and lightning in southeastern Bangladesh rose to 107 Tuesday after rescuers found 14 more bodies, officials and witnesses said. The worst-hit area was a congested shantytown in the hilly port city of Chittagong, where large chunks of hill collapsed and buried dozens of bamboo and straw shacks. Full Story
