Britain’s Brown planning anti-terror crackdown: reports

Gordon Brown is planning to introduce a raft of hardline anti-terror laws when he becomes Britain’s prime minister, newspapers reported widely Sunday. Finance minister Brown, who takes over the premiership from Tony Blair on June 27, will this week propose sweeping new powers and making the fight against terrorism one of the priorities of his administration, newspapers said.
