New clashes in northern Lebanon

Heavy clashes erupted Tuesday between Lebanese troops and Fatah Islam militants in a Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon — the sharpest escalation after a weeklong truce. Sporadic gunfire exchanges have continued daily since the truce halted three days of heavy fighting.
