A chemical factory blast in north China has killed five workers and injured nearly 80, Chinese media said on Tuesday. One Western radio station put the death toll at more than 70. The blast killed three workers on the spot on Friday in a workshop in Cangzhou, Hebei province, the semi-official China News Centre said on its Web site (www.chinanews.com.cn).
