Workers at Brazil’s environmental protection agency voted on Thursday to go on strike until the government reversed a decision to break up the agency to speed licensing for industrial projects. “We’re prepared to strike until the government withdraws the decree,” said Jonas Correa, who represents the roughly 6,400 workers at the agency, known as Ibama.
