Nepal’s southern Terai region on Friday witnessed mixed response to the three-day strike called by the ethnic Madhesi group. The effect of the Madhesi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF) called shut down was felt in Sunsari, Bara, Saptari and Udaypur as transport services, educational institutions, factories and industries remained shut.
