Tens of thousands of people marched through the streets of Cali on Thursday to protest the bombing of the city’s police barracks, blamed on Colombia’s largest leftist rebel group. The 110-pound car gutted the five-floor police headquarters before dawn Monday, killing a taxi driver and injuring 34. Authorities blamed the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, which has been trying to overthrow Colombia’s democratic government for nearly five decades. Full Story
