At least 11 persons, including patrol policemen local villagers were wounded Thursday morning when insurgents detonated a bomb at a market in Thailand’s southernmost Yala province. Police said the five-kilogram bomb was hidden under a butcher’s shop at Pimolchai market and was detonated before 7:00 a.m. (0000GMT) when villagers were shopping for goods, the Bangkok Post reported on its website.
