Six hurt as gunmen open fire at Philippines rally

Unidentified gunmen opened fire in Manila at a political rally for a mayor, wounding six civilians, police said yesterday. The rally was held on Tuesday evening in a residential area in Caloocan City in metropolitan Manila. Caloocan City Mayor Enrico Echeverri, who is campaigning to be re-elected in May voting, had just gotten out of his car to attend the rally when the shooting occurred. Full Story
