Dutch NATO forces ring Afghan operation

Dutch troops moved into place in southern Afghanistan to set up a cordon around the NATO force’s biggest operation against Taliban rebels in Helmand province. Backed by F-16 fighter jets and Apache helicopters, Dutch and Afghan ground troops moved towards the border between Uruzgan province and the northern part of Helmand, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said.
