Kosovo’s interior minister resigned on Monday over the deaths of two protesters in clashes between police and ethnic Albanians demonstrating against a UN plan for the breakaway province. United Nations and Kosovo police used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse 3,000 ethnic Albanians who took to the streets on Saturday against the plan, which they say falls short of full independence for the breakaway Serbian province.
