BRITISH police today charged a 24-year-old man, who they had arrested last month in northwestern England, with trying to assist in acts of terrorism. Abdul Rahman, arrested with two others in Manchester on January 23, was charged with “the intent to assist another to commit acts of terrorism”, a spokesman from Greater Manchester police said.
