Police said Thursday that intelligence reports indicated last month that militant groups would carry out bombings to coincide with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit this week. But security officials could not yet say which group was responsible for the three bomb blasts on the southern island of Mindanao on Wednesday that killed seven people and wounded up to 37 others.
