Tanzania foreign minister No.2 at U.N.
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday appointed Tanzania’s foreign minister to the No. 2 job at the
United Nations, calling her a highly respected leader and outstanding manager who has championed the developing world. When Asha-Rose Migiro takes over as deputy secretary-general, Ban said, he intends to delegate much of the management of the U.N.
