Gabon’s Constitutional Court confirmed President Omar Bongo Ondimba’s camp as official winner of the West African nation’s general elections held December 17 and 24. According to the court, the 40-odd and sometimes tiny parties loyal to the president won 98 of the 120 seats up for grabs.
