Chad’s President Idriss Deby and rebel leader Mahamat Nour Abdulkerim have signed a peace deal after talks arranged by Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi, officials on both sides said. The deal signed during the night centers on a ceasefire, the liberation of prisoners from each side, an amnesty for all members of the United Front for Change (FUC) rebel group, provisions for its entry in government and the return of refugees, participants in the meeting told AFP Monday.
