Britain’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) has warned the House of Lords that the UK is experiencing a drastic rise in the number of phishing cases, leading to concerns about online banking fraud. The two-year growth figure has been put at a staggering 8,000 percent by the banking industry body APACS. The warning came during a meeting of the Lords Science and Technology committee on Wednesday 13th December, during which issues of personal Internet security were discussed. Full Story
