Nigerian vice president accuses boss Obasanjo of corruption
Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar, indicted on graft charges, hit back at President Olusegun Obasanjo with detailed counter-allegations of corruption. Speaking for the first time before a parliamentary commission on his case, he accused Obasanjo of paying 250 million naira (1.9 million dollars, 1.5 million euros) of oil money intended for a public development agency to his lawyer to register a company, when the actual registration cost was around one-tenth of that sum.
