French Polynesia’s pro-independence president has been removed by a no-confidence vote for the second time in two years. The Pacific territory’s assembly voted 29-0 this morning against President Oscar Temaru’s government after MPs aligned to Mr Temaru boycotted the debate, reports from the capital Papeete said.
