Mexican federal police stormed the state attorney general’s offices in the conflict-torn city of Oaxaca on Friday, seizing agents’ guns to check if they were used in the killings of more than a dozen people. With a helicopter buzzing overhead, dozens of armed federal police raided the state offices and grabbed more than 300 guns which will be taken to the defense ministry for checks, police chief Ardelio Vargas. “We are going to do exhaustive examinations to determine if any of them was used in any type of crime,” he told reporters.
