Iranian police have arrested 87 members and supporters of “terrorist groups” and killed nine in the northwestern border province of West Azarbaijan since March, a newspaper has reported. “Some 22 main members of terrorist groups and 65 of their active supporters have been arrested since the beginning of the current year (March),” provincial police commander Hassan Karami was quoted as saying by the Iran newspaper on Tuesday.
