Rebels kill 3 in Thailand’s Muslim south
Three people, including two members of Thailand’s security forces, have been killed in the latest attacks by suspected Islamic separatists, police said. A policeman and a defense volunteer, both Muslims, were killed shortly after they left a tea shop early Sunday in Yala, one of three provinces rocked by insurgent violence over nearly three years, police said. Four militants followed them from the shop and gunned them down just 200 meters away from a rural police station, police said. Full Story
