Eight foreign oil workers have been kidnapped overnight from an oil installation operated by Italy’s ENI in southern Nigeria. “The incident occurred between 2:00 am (0100 GMT) and 4.00 am some 60 nautical miles from Bonny in Rivers State. Eight foreigners, mostly Italians, were taken away,” national police spokesman Haz Iwendi told AFP on Wednesday. He said the whereabouts of the abducted oilmen were still unknown. Full Story
