FIJI’S military commander, Frank Bainimarama, yesterday issued a fresh threat to the Government to meet his demands within two weeks or face action by the armed forces. Again raising the possibility of a coup, Commodore Bainimarama refused to detail what would happen if his demands were not met, but promised that the military would make a public announcement before taking any action.
