Police fired tear gas and clashed with demonstrators Friday as violence erupted during a rally marking the anniversary of a 1973 student uprising. At least 10 people were injured and dozens detained. Rioters hurled flares and rocks at police near the prime minister’s official residence as others marched around the U.S. Embassy, authorities said.
