Thousands of protesters striking for electoral reforms in Bangladesh’s capital blocked railways and set fire to a train on Sunday, media reports and witnesses said. No injuries were reported. Protesters blocked rail tracks and later set fire to a train in Tongi, just outside the capital, an AP photographer at the scene said. Firefighters doused the blaze immediately. No one was injured. Separately, a group of protesters attacked a train in the district of Brahmanbaria, 50 miles east of the capital, Dhaka, ATN Bangla reported. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
