The head of the French-led U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon called on Israel Friday to cease its ”dangerous” mock raids, saying a catastrophe has been avoided only because of the restraint of the French military. Israel has pledged to continue the overflights as long as two kidnapped Israeli soldiers are not freed, Gen.
