A rebel force has seized the town of Ouadda Djalle in the Central African Republic on after heavy fighting with government troops who were forced to retreat, military and rebel sources said. “The town was attacked early this morning” by rebels who took Birao, 130 kilometres (80 miles) to the north late last month, said an army source, who asked not to be named.
