Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo began a visit to southwest Ekiti State where he imposed a state of emergency three weeks ago after political unrest and a crisis of governance. During the visit, Obasanjo was to meet the newly appointed administrator, Olatunji Olurin, with politicians and review the situation since the state of emergency was imposed with a view to guiding further government moves, officials said.
