Suspected Taliban militants attacked a police checkpoint in eastern Afghanistan, leaving two militants and one police officer dead, an official said Tuesday. The militants fired rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns on the police post in the eastern Khost province late Monday, which also left two police wounded, said Gen.
