Japan has called for “concrete” action by

North Korea to end its nuclear program as incoming UN chief Ban Ki-Moon and two US envoys visited in a bid to form a united front on Pyongyang. The rush of diplomacy comes after North Korea, which last month conducted its first atom bomb test, agreed to return to six-nation talks on ending its nuclear program following a one-year boycott.
