A suicide bomber has detonated a bomb belt outside a police station in the northern Iraqi town of Kirkuk, killing two officers and a child and wounding 11 more people. Brigadier General Torhan Yusuf told AFP that five of the wounded were police officers, who were hurt when the bomber hit the main police headquaters in this divided and restive northern city, a hub of Iraq’s oil industry.
