A Serbian war crimes suspect who once compared U.N. judges to medieval inquisitors can conduct his own defense after all, the Yugoslav tribunal in the Hague said Monday. Ultra-nationalist Vovjislav Seselj, who goes on trial Nov. 2, has pleaded innocent to charges linked to the massacre of at least 255 non-Serbs in 1991 at a farm near the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar, and other incidents.
