Iran’s embattled moderate press suffered a new blow when the press watchdog shut down a new daily after barely a week in print for overly resembling a newspaper banned one month ago. The conservative press watchdog closed the moderate Rozegar (Times) for being too similar to Shargh (East) newspaper, the former standard-bearer of Iran’s moderates, the ISNA agency reported Monday.
