About 541 landmines and other arms and ammunition bearing the seal of an Indian ordnance factory, allegedly stolen from the Indian Army, were recovered from a house at Behala in south Kolkata on Thursday evening. On a complaint by the Military Intelligence about a theft, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police raided the house located at the Shakuntala Park residential area and recovered the anti-personnel landmines, firearms and bullets, police said.
