Hungary protesters demand PM’s ouster

Tens of thousands of anti-government protesters called Sunday for the ouster of the Socialist prime minister because of his admission on a leaked tape that he had lied to the country about the economy. A new leaked recording of a Socialist minister was broadcast, raising more questions about the government’s integrity. Protesters have gathered outside parliament pressing for the removal of Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany since Sept. 17, when he was heard admitting on a leaked recording that his government had lied about the economy to win re-election in April.
