THE commander of NATO troops in Afghanistan will fly to Islamabad today and confront President Pervez Musharraf over Taliban operations in Pakistan. Britain’s Lieutenant General David Richards was to meet General Musharraf in the Pakistani city of Quetta where deposed Taliban leader Mullah Omar is said to be living openly, and ask for his arrest. General Richards will also ask General Musharraf to rein in his military intelligence, which he believes is training Taliban fighters to attack British troops. He says he has satellite pictures and videos of training camps for Taliban soldiers and suicide bombers inside Pakistan. Full Story
