Sri Lankan troops kept up attacks against Tamil Tiger rebels a day after both sides claimed to have inflicted heavy losses and as another peace bid stalled. Military officials said air attacks against the rebels continued amid sporadic exchanges in the eastern district of Batticaloa, where heavy fighting erupted on Friday.
