The Bangladesh government has rejected an opposition demand that the first round of crucial electoral reform talks ahead of January parliamentary polls be held at the US ambassador’s residence. “We have said ‘no’ to a dialogue at the residence of the US ambassador,” ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) secretary general Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan told reporters in the capital.
