An intruder with a large kitchen knife was charged with two offences after scaling a fence into the grounds of Tony Blair’s Downing Street residence, but there was no threat to the British leader’s life, officials say. Byung Lin Lee, 32, who has no fixed address, was charged with assault on a police officer and possession of a bladed article, a police spokeswoman told AFP.
