The appeal verdict in a Kuwaiti trial of 36 suspected Al-Qaeda militants — who fought bloody gunbattles with police last year — has been set for November 13. A total of 37 people were tried in December 2005, with six of them sentenced to death, one given a life jail term, and 23 others receiving various prison sentences. Seven were acquitted. Full Story
